TMS Turns ONE
Happy Birthday to us!
It's hard to believe a full year has passed since we made The Movement Study our teaching home. What began as a mission to collaborate with and uplift like-minded practitioners, clients, and students has blossomed into a vibrant, supportive community—and we’re so grateful to each of you for being part of it. Please celebrate with us at our one year anniversary party!
As we head into year two, we’re thrilled to continue growing our team, supporting our movement community, and offering education—-
Nicole Pearce is offering deeply restorative Reiki sessions at TMS
Nadine Hildebrand is back with a dynamic strength pop-up class in September to help you build power and inspiration in your movement practice.
Dana Florin-Weiss has launched Maha Craft, an Ayurvedic-inspired plant protein crafted to nourish active bodies, and we have 2026 equipment teacher training.
To help you finish out your summer in style, our TMS tote bags are in stock and on sale! Grab one for your studio gear, farmer’s market hauls, or everyday errands.
This August, we’re taking time to dream, create, and plan for an even more inspiring year ahead. We can’t wait to celebrate with you and see what’s next!

Nicole is a certified Karuna Reiki Master and an Affiliate Member of the International Center for Reiki Training. She began her journey as a Lighting Designer for Live Performance traveling the world to create works for Dance, Opera, and Theater. When the pandemic hit, and every performance venue across the globe closed, Nicole began a healing journey that took her inwards. Years of meditation and reflection revealed that it was time to be of service.
Since then she has completed 4 units of Clinical Pastoral Education as a Hospital Chaplain with New York Presbyterian Queens Hospital and Stony Brook University Hospital. While completing training as a Chaplain, Nicole certified in all levels of Reiki training with Reiki Masters William Lee Rand and Jissel Ravelo. Nicole is currently enrolled in Gabor Mate’s Compassionate Inquiry Professional Training Program. It is described by Gabor Mate as: ‘a psychotherapeutic approach focused on uncovering unconscious dynamics and hidden beliefs that contribute to mental and physical illness, addiction, and other struggles.
Nicole's intention with her Reiki service is to fold together the experience/instincts of an artist, a Chaplain, and a student of Compassionate Inquiry to support to each client’s healing journey. She holds in her heart that everyone, regardless of age or background, has the innate ability to bring themselves back to that place of wholeness. A place where peace and calm allow direct communication with ones gut instincts. This intention places compassion, empathetic listening, and love above all else.

Community Spotlight
We're starting a new section in our newsletters to spotlight fellow small businesses! We’re excited to start it off with Maha Craft, a nourishing plant-based protein founded by Dana Florin-Weiss—Ayurvedic health coach, Pilates instructor, and wellness enthusiast.
Maha Craft is an ultra-clean, minimal-ingredient blend made to support energy, digestion, and daily ritual. Inspired by ancient Ayurvedic wisdom and modern science, it’s intentionally designed to be enjoyed warm—in lattes, oats, or baked treats. With real spices for flavor, no added sugars, and 25g of protein per serving, it’s ideal for active bodies that value clean, intentional nutrition.
